About ‘The Traitors’ Series 2 Premiere

Based on both the British series of the same name and originally from the Dutch series “De Verraders,” “The Traitors” pits some of entertainment’s most competitive reality stars and other famous faces against one another in a game of treachery and deceit.

Stage and screen star Alan Cumming hosts from an ancient castle in the Scottish Highlands, where contestants, known as the “Faithful,” must work together to build up a prize pot worth up to $250,000. But hidden amongst the Faithful are the titular “Traitors,” selected by Cumming, whose goal is to elminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves.

Traitors convene each night under the cover of darkness to “murder” the Faithful one by one while the Faithful work to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. But if a Traitor or Traitors make it to the end, they take the prize themselves.
